Description of the tour

We will take departure from Beni Hayoun around midday and travel with a 4x4. After a short while we will arrive to our camp located next to the small dunes. Here, we will have tea and we will start to prepare lunch. You will have the rest of the day to explore the camp and the beautiful dunes surrounded by mountains. Each person will have her/his own tent for the night, couples and friends will get a shared tent if desired. Your guide Said will be happy to tell you stories about the desert, his history and to answer all the questions that you have. He carries a lot of old knowledge, so don't hesitate to ask him anything.

In the evening, there will be a three course menu followed by a campfire. Ex-nomads will be happy to play Saharan music for you, while you can enjoy the warmth of the fire and the brightest night sky you've ever seen.

 

The next morning we will prepare a delightful breakfast for you. We will slowly return to Beni Hayoun after breakfast.

Depending on availability and interest, a camel ride in the dunes can be arranged during sunset or in the next day during sunrise. Please note: it is important for us that all animals are treated good. We only work with dromedary herders that know their animals well and treat them with care.
